Money Matters — Fees & Support – Yorkshire Young Musicians

YYM’s aim is to ensure access to specialist tuition is inclusive and available to all who can benefit, regardless of their means, social or ethnic background, or whether they have any disability.

We are proud to be supported by the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme. These grants are designed to ensure opportunities for all young musicians to access expert, well-rounded musical training. Information and current banding for grants can be found on the Department for Education’s website or from the YYM office.

Current fees for the 2025-26 academic year are;

Advance Programme £4,193

Foundation Programme (1 instrument) £1,830

Foundation Programme (2 instruments) £2,530
